We’re looking forward to hosting several events at Techfestival, Copenhagen’s most progressive tech event, which is taking place in the Danish capital from 5–8 September.
Now in its second year, Techfestival bills itself as the point “where humans & technology meet”—as a festival guided by collaboration, curiosity and a human-centric approach to technology. Last year it attracted over 10,000 participants—and organisers are expecting even more to attend this year.
And no wonder. The programme includes over one hundred summits, meet-ups, conferences, dinners, concerts, art installations and activities in warehouses, studios, shipping containers and outdoor spaces all around Copenhagen. Keynote speakers include artist Olafur Eliasson, Kickstarter co-founder Charles Adler, and Ida Tin, founder of the period-tracking app Clue.
What’s more, Techfestival’s headquarters will be right on SPACE10’s doorstep—in Copenhagen’s meatpacking district—so we’ll be throwing open our doors and hosting a series of events every evening. Our curated programme will include sessions exploring the ethics of AI, technology and erotica; the effect of technology on our brain; future cities and the Fab Lab movement; and privacy in the age of Trump, Russian hackers and the UK’s “snooper’s charter”. We’ll also be hosting film screenings and the launch of the CPH150—a new tech manifesto.
