The four films revisit a range of social housing projects by the Pritzker Prize-winning Portuguese architect Álvaro Siza Vieira.
Film director Cândida Pinto introduces her films on Álvaro Siza Vieira's social housing projects in Porto, The Hague, Berlin and Venice and their development from plan to everyday life. The films show architect revisit his housing projects and his relationship with the residents.
The 4 films are all showing different neighbourhoods realities ranging from the south to the north of Europe. The films were part of the Portuguese Pavilion of the Venice Biennal of Architecture called “Neighbourhood: Where Álvaro meets Aldo”
